This policy explains how Cleanzilla Limited collects, uses and stores personal information, in line with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
What we collect
When you request a quote or download a guide from this site, we collect:
- Your name, email address and phone number
- Your business name, where you provide it
- Details about the property you want cleaned
- Basic technical information about how you reached the site (referring page, and campaign tags if you arrived from an ad or link we published)
Why we collect it
To respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote, and deliver any guide you asked for. That’s it. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are useful. It sets cookies, so we ask before loading it, if you decline, no analytics cookies are set. IP addresses are anonymised. You can change your mind by clearing this site’s data in your browser.
How long we keep it
Enquiry records are kept while there is a reasonable prospect of doing business, and for as long as needed for our own business records afterwards. Client service records are kept for the life of the contract so you can access your cleaning history.
Client portal data
If you become a client, your portal shows service records for your own sites only. Staff are identified by first name and last initial. The portal does not expose staff contact details, pay information, employment details, clock-in times or location data.
Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it. Email contact@cleanzilla.co.nz and we’ll respond within 20 working days.
Security
Data is stored on servers with access limited to staff who need it. Passwords are hashed. Portal sessions expire automatically. If we ever have a privacy breach likely to cause serious harm, we will notify you and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner as required.
